Important Update Regarding Registration: The official Run the Rocks registration site has been replaced by the timing company’s registration site. This change ensures you receive your bib at packet pick-up for the run/walk.
Team Registration: If you are registering as part of a team, please note that your name will not be listed as a team member on the website. Rest assured, you may still participate with your team on the morning of the event and run/walk together!
We appreciate your understanding!
Let every step you take make a profound impact on lung health and clean air in Colorado!
Celebrating our 19th year, the American Lung Association in Colorado proudly offers the only timed race event at the iconic, gorgeous Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre. This unique run/walk challenge combines breathtaking scenery and a rock ‘n roll vibe for our 5K and 1.3-mile run/walk (well-behaved dogs welcome in these events).
We will host over 1,000 participants on a course that begins in the upper parking lot at Red Rocks and continues along the beautiful park roads, concluding with the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre stairs. Bands will be present along the route to entertain and motivate you.

Because when you can’t breathe, nothing else matters.®
While fundraising will not be required in 2024, please keep in mind that this event is an important fundraiser for the American Lung Association in Colorado. As the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through education, advocacy, and research, we kindly ask that each Run the Rocks participant considers making a meaningful personal donation and/or fundraise. Please contact CEvents@Lung.org for more information or assistance with fundraising.
In March 2020, the American Lung Association launched a $25 million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. At the same time, we're continuing our advocacy work to support clean air and redoubling our long-term commitments to lifesaving research.
