What is the Great Dam Ride?
The Great Dam Ride is the signature Cycle For Air event in Nevada! Three different routes and a Cycle Your Way option ensure that this bike ride has something for everyone - from experienced cyclists to those new to riding, including younger, novice cyclists.
Experience a ride through the beautiful scenery of Henderson and Boulder City, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the sparkling waters of Lake Mead.
You can attempt the 70 Mile loop, the 35-mile loop, and a family ride up to 14 miles. All routes start and finish at the stunning Hemenway Park in Boulder City. So you and your friends, family, or team members can celebrate completion together. Kids are welcome to participate in the Family Ride along with their parents.
This 14-mile does have some rolling hills, but it is perfect for families and cyclists of all levels.
How To Participate
You may register as an individual, team member, or team captain as an in-person or Cycle Your Way rider online by selecting the REGISTER button at the top of this page. You will have the best fundraising tools at your fingertips, including a personal online fundraising page to raise funds to fight lung disease, promote clean air, and support our COVID-19 Initiative.
Our online tools make raising the funds needed to qualify for prizes easy, and donations are tax-deductible.
No matter how you choose to ride, you will be a part of the fantastic Great Dam Ride community! If you need support registering, please call Nevada Events at 702-431-6333.
Cycle Your Way
Cycle Your Way allows cyclists the flexibility to plan their rides by choosing the day, route, pace, and whom they ride with. This option is customizable for families, advanced cyclists, and casual riders. So, strap on your helmet and Cycle Your Way.
