About Us
The American Lung Association is dedicated to saving lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through education, advocacy and research.
Our non-profit organization is focused on preventing lung cancer and lung disease, improving the air we breathe, reducing the burden of lung disease on individuals and their families, and eliminating tobacco use and tobacco-related diseases.
For 120 years, we have led the fight for healthy lungs and healthy air. Today, our mission to help all Americans breathe easier is more important than ever.
Your generous donations make our work possible.
LUNG FORCE
The American Lung Association's LUNG FORCE movement unites women and their loved ones to stand together for lung health and against lung cancer. Lung cancer continues to be the #1 cancer killer of both men and women in the United States. The LUNG FORCE Run/Walk is the organization's signature event, that looks to raise awareness and funds needed to defeat this deadly disease once and for all.
