Campaign Information

Join us as an esteemed Turquoise Takeover Ambassador in South Florida! There are numerous meaningful ways for you to participate in this multi-month campaign, to bring awareness to lung cancer, while moving the needle forward on a cure. You can invite your friends and coworkers to join you for any number of our upcoming community events, or you can even host your own Turquoise Takeover fundraising event with your coworkers or friends & family at work or at home (i.e. Jeans Day, bake sale, Happy Hour for a cause, Birthday party with a purpose, selling turquoise silicone bracelets etc.)!

Other ways to go Turquoise:

• Share your voice on social media and use our templated posts to raise awareness to the facts around lung cancer
• Host a Facebook fundraiser to easily collect donations socially
• Consider illuminating your office, building or home space TURQUOISE and tag us @LungSoFla
• Get your coworkers together and host a small run/walk and challenge your lungs while saving lungs!

JHave you or a loved one been personally impacted by lung cancer? LUNG FORCE Heroes are survivors, caregivers or family members who have faced this devastating diagnosis, and want to join the LUNG FORCE movement to empower others while advocating for a cure.

Our Heroes in South Florida also have opportunities to share their stories through social media, email campaigns, and at events, like our LUNG FORCE Sunset Soiree. Every year a select group of Heroes are selected to walk in the Light the Way Luminary Procession at the LUNG FORCE Sunset Soiree. The 2024 Soiree will take place on June 1.
