The South Florida LUNG FORCE Turquoise Takeover is a multi-month campaign, which kicks off in November for Lung Cancer Awareness month and culminates in the celebration of Lung Cancer Action week (Turquoise Takeover Week) in May. Numerous community events, and memorable awareness activities will be hosted throughout the season.
This year's LUNG FORCE Turquoise Takeover falls on the week of May 6 - 12, and we need YOU to help turn the town TURQUOISE!
During Turquoise Takeover Week you can play a vital role as an Ambassador by participating in our many Spirit Week activities, hosting your own Turquoise Takeover fundraising event with your coworkers or friends & family, registering as a LUNG FORCE Hero (as a lung cancer survivor or a loved one of someone impacted by lung cancer), or even organizing your own Turquoise Takeover Run/Walk.
The LUNG FORCE Turquoise Takeover provides critical funds for lifesaving research, early detection initiatives, and local/ online support programs.
Register today and YOU can help make a difference in your community. By registering you are committing to becoming a lung health advocate via participating in the LUNG FORCE Run/Walk, Light the Way Luminary Procession and/or becoming a Turquoise Takeover Ambassador.
