General

You can register online by specifying your participation type. You can climb as a team, an individual, or join us as a volunteer. Please feel free to reach out to the Events Team with any questions.

Online registration prices are as follows:

All Climbers

  • $25 thru Jan. 13
  • $35 Jan. 14-March 7
  • $45 Day of Event

Power Hour Climber

  • $40 thru Jan. 13
  • $50 Jan. 14-March 7
  • $60 Day of Event

Climb Your Way

 

  • $0 for Virtual Participation

All in-person climbers, regardless of participation type, are required to complete the $100 minimum fundraising requirement on or before event day. Registration fees are not included in the $100 minimum fundraising requirement.

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to participate, your registration fee will support the American Lung Association’s mission.

The 411 E. Wisconsin Center is 30 floors.

The average time to climb the 411 E Wisconsin Center is 11.5 minutes.

You must meet your $100 fundraising minimum and present your ID to pick up your packet. Your climb packet, which includes your race bib with timing chip, important event day reminders and t-shirt, will be available at our designated packet pick up hours only or on event day.

  • Advanced Packet Pick Up - To pick up another climber's packet, they need to have met their $100 minimum, and you must provide written proof of acknowledgment. No exceptions!
  • Event Day Packet Pick Up is Available. Please plan for additional time to check in.

Parking is available for climbers at a discounted rate of $6 at 601 N Jefferson. Bring your ticket with you to pay at the kiosk or pay with card upon exit. Street parking is also available.

Wave On Deck Times will be posted on Feb. 28. Newly registered climbers, please climb with your team, individuals please plan to climb at 12:20 pm.

Please plan to arrive 20 minutes prior to your Climb Wave On Deck Time so you can: Meet up with your Team Members, Check your Coat, Take a Team Photo, Visit our Exhibitors & Listen for your Wave On Deck Time.

If you need to pick up your packet, head to the Lobby Conference Room located near Davians.

If you attended pre-event Packet Pick-Up and have your bib - no need to check in again - just go to the lobby to wait for your Climb Wave On Deck Time to be called before lining up.

If for some reason you cannot complete the climb, someone at the nearest water station can assist you.

Children ages 6 years old and up may join you on the climb if they are a registered participant and have met the $100 fundraising minimum. No other children are allowed on the route. For safety reasons you may not carry a child or use any type of baby carrier.

Spectators are welcome to wait in the lobby - space is limited.

During the registration process, please choose the Climb twice upsell for $20. If on a team, you will be assigned a climb start time with your team and then you can proceed to climb a second time.

For an increased registration fee, Power Hour climbers can climb as many times as they would like in 1-hour. Power Hour climbers will climb first thing in the morning with only other Power Hour climbers. Please note, that this participation type does not allow you to climb later in the day with regular climbers. Questions? Email us at EventsWI@Lung.org.

Fundraising

The minimum fundraising requirement is $100 per person. Climbers have until event day to raise the money and if, for some reason they haven’t met the minimum they will be asked to pay it before participating.

The registration fee does not count toward the $100 fundraising minimum. The registration fee is non-refundable and non- transferable. But don’t worry, we are here to help, and we have plenty of fundraising ideas and tips to get you started!

If you are part of a team, please be sure to include your name and team name.

Many companies will offer to match an employee's contribution to a charitable organization. For questions regarding your company’s matching gift programs, please contact your employer’s HR department or community giving department.  You can also use our company search tool below to see if your employer offers a matching gift program, as well as find information on how to get started.

Teams

Climbing on a team is the best way to enjoy the event. The camaraderie of the shared endeavor is priceless, and it’s way more fun reaching the top with friends and family!

If you are climbing with others, creating a team is the only way to guarantee you will be assigned the same climb start time.

To form a team, choose Register as Team Captain. Make sure you have a team name in mind: honor a loved one, make it fun or name it after your business — the sky’s the limit!

After you register as a Team Captain, tell your team members to select Register as a Team Member and to search for your team name to join.

If you would like to create or join a team after you have already registered, please contact EventsWI@Lung.org to set up your team.

Team captains rally friends, family and co-workers to form a team to work together and fundraise for the Climb. Register as Team Captain today!

Yes! Local event managers are here to support Team Captains every step of the way. We also have several online tools for fundraising and team member recruitment. Visit our Fundraising page or contact your event manager.

No, the registration fee and fundraising minimum are per individual. There are no additional fees for creating a team.

Firefighters participating in the Anthem Firefighter Challenge should bring/wear clean gear and carefully review our gear requirements. To qualify for the fastest team, five team members are required to participate. If a team has more than five members, the fastest five times will be calculated.
