About the American Lung Association

Our vision is a world free of lung disease. Improving lung health and preventing lung disease is the core of our mission. Our work directly touches more than 20 million Americans each year and supports millions of Americans with our pioneering model of education, advocacy, and research.

For more than 115 years, Americans have trusted us to protect their lungs, whether it's researching treatments and cures for lung diseases, including COVID-19—keeping kids off tobacco, including e-cigarettes, or advocating for laws that protect the air we all breathe.

Our goals are big—defeat lung cancer, create a tobacco-free future, champion clean air for all, and improve the quality of life for those living with lung disease. Our work is more important than ever … because when you can't breathe, nothing else mattersŪ.

What do proceeds from the event benefit?

Proceeds from the cooking event will benefit the American Lung Association’s mission and enable us to continue researching innovative treatments and cures for lung diseases, improving the quality of life for those living with lung disease, keeping kids off tobacco - including e-cigarettes - and advocating for laws that protect the air we breathe.
