We deeply regret to inform you that the 2021 Fight For Air Climb Nashville has been postponed until public health concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19) and delt variant subside. The health and wellness of all involved is our top priority.
We acknowledge the late nature of this announcement and apologize for the inconvenience that it causes for our valued event sponsors, participants, and volunteers. We look forward to when we can bring our community together in support of the American Lung Association's life-saving research, advocacy and education work.
We have been in discussions with Nissan Stadium, working to secure a date in early Spring of 2022. At this time, we are happy to announce that we will be climbing at Nissan Stadium on the weekend of March 19-20, 2022 - the exact date will be announced as soon as we receive confirmation from the stadium.
From the Nashville Climb team, thank you for your continued support over the past 9 years. We were very much looking forward to celebrating our 9th Anniversary with all of you in-person this year and we understand that this is disappointing news for all, our team included. We hope to celebrate with you in March 2022!

Outdoors, onward, upward and around the world.
COVID-19. Lung Cancer. Lung disease. Clean Air. That's why we Climb.
We're taking the Climb outside and around the world in 2022. We're moving onward and upward, safely and responsibly, so that we can make an impact now to ensure a healthier future for all. Join us outside for a reimagined Climb in 2021 at Nissan Stadium. All are welcome to share in this adventure, whether you're new to the event or a veteran Climber.
As you can imagine, the stairs at Nissan Stadium are much different than the stairwells of the 505 building where Climb Nashville is typically held. Below are the route options for this year’s Fight For Air Climb with stair count totals.
Stadium Climbers: This route will include weaving up and down the Lower Bowl at Nissan Stadium for a total of 2,817 stairs and equates to about 1.3 miles.
Firefighters and First Responders: This route will include weaving up and down the Upper Bowl for a total of 3,322 stairs and equates to about 1.5 miles.
Titan Challenge Climbers: This route will include weaving up and down the Lower Bowl and continuing up to weave up and down the Upper Bowl at Nissan Stadium for a total of 6,139 stairs and equates to about 3 miles.
Climb Your Way (VIRTUAL): We recommend shooting for the 2,817 stairs the Stadium Climbers will be doing which equates to about 1.3 miles.
In March, the American Lung Association launched a $25 million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. At the same time, we're continuing our advocacy work to support clean air and redoubling our long-term commitments to lifesaving research.
Over the last 12 years, the Climbers have raised more than $65 million to support the mission of the American Lung Association.
Join us. Because Every Step Counts and every step makes a difference.
