Our Climb Safe Commitment includes spatial distancing, health screenings, sanitation protocols, and face masks.
The American Lung Association is committed to the health and safety of our participants and volunteers. We will continue to closely monitor public health conditions and CDC guidelines as we plan for the 2021 event.
Here’s what to expect when you arrive - please don’t approach the Right Field Gate entrance until your family/pod has assembled.
You will see a line outside of the stadium as most of your wait time will occur there. You’ll show your passing health screening confirmation here and move through the metal detector, at which point you’ll be steps away from the start line!

Check out the STADIUM CLIMB ROUTE You’ll climb 1,407 stairs up and down the Loge Level. On Climb day, you can make a game-time decision at the finish line to Take it to the TOP by adding 417 steps on the Terrace level- totaling 1,824 stairs!
Every climber must complete our HEALTH SCREENING SURVEY within 24 hours of the event. Proof of completion (screenshot of results or print out) will be required for all participants and volunteers to enter the event. This will be sent to you via email but is also available on your bib envelope.
In March, the American Lung Association launched a $25 million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. At the same time, we're continuing our advocacy work to support clean air and redoubling our long-term commitments to lifesaving research.
Over the last 11 years, the Climbers have raised more than $60 million to support the mission of the American Lung Association. Last year, more than 26,000 participants from 43 Climb events across the country came together last year to raise more than $7 million.
