The COPD Educator Institute Course, through the American Lung Association in Maine, provides healthcare professionals with a thorough overview of COPD information.

This one-and-a-half-day two day course will include practical information healthcare professionals can use in their work with COPD patients. Specific attention will be given to COPD Diagnosis and Management, Disease Overview, Smoking Cessation, Spirometry, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Oxygen Therapy, Education and Adherence, Medications and Delivery Devices, Palliative Care, Hospice and End of Life Issues.

Cost: $175.00 through September 1, 2019 | $225.00 after September 1, 2019

The upcoming COPD Educator Institute will be held at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland.
