Day Of Event Details

The American Lung Association is proud to again sponsor the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Educator Institute (COPDEI).

The two-day institute (8:00-3:30 daily) provides healthcare professionals with a thorough overview of COPD information. The course will include practical information healthcare providers can use in their work with patients living with COPD.

Specific attention will be given to tobacco treatment, spirometry, disease management, medication guidelines, end of life issues, the role of pulmonary rehabilitation, oxygen therapy and patient education.

• CEUs: All participants will receive a certificate of attendance for 12.0 contact hours.
• Food: Lunch, beverages/snacks for both days will be provided.
• Registration Fee: $175.00 early bird registration (by Sept. 1, 2019) will cover all costs including resource materials.
