Packet Pick-Up

Friday, November 8th | 9 AM-4 PM @ the American Lung Association Office (1938 Charlie Hall Blvd., Unit A, Charleston, SC 29414).

Note: We share an office with Lowcountry Lung and Critical Care. Please put the Charlie Hall Blvd. location into your GPS. Packet Pick-Up will take place in the parking lot.

You’ve trained and raised funds, and now the big day has finally arrived! Don’t miss a moment of the fun. Our LUNG FORCE 5K takes place on the beach (that’s right—it’s in the sand)! Runners are professionally timed, and we have awards for top overall, masters, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in 10-year age group categories. All participants receive a LUNG FORCE t-shirt (while supplies last). Light refreshments provided after the race.

Our LUNG FORCE Run/Walk is a great time to meet other people impacted by lung disease, which is why participants who have a personal connection are encouraged to identify themselves at registration. If you are comfortable, you are welcome to join as a new LUNG FORCE Hero and will have the opportunity to share your story.

    Note: There will be no late registration this year. Please register on the event website by 7:00 PM on Friday, November 8.

Parking is free in the parking lot next to The Dunes House located at Folly Beach County Park. Please tell the parking attendant you are arriving for the LUNG FORCE race, and they will direct you to The Dunes House.

LUNG FORCE Heroes

LUNG FORCE Heroes are patients, caregivers, family, friends and co-workers of those who are impacted by lung cancer or lung disease. These brave individuals share their powerful real-life stories online and at events to help raise awareness and educate the public about what it’s like to live with lung cancer or lung disease. If you're interested in becoming a LUNG FORCE Hero, please contact The Charleston Team.
