The following healthcare providers are highly recommended to take this course:

  • Primary care providers who will be interpreting the results to assist with diagnosis and disease management

Attendees have three different registration options:

  • Morning session only (Implementation): register for this option if you need practice or instruction on setting up a test, coaching a patient through the spirometry maneuver, and understanding the requirements of what makes a valid test. The morning session will include hands-on practice with spirometers in small groups or partners coaching each other. It will also include demonstrations and discussion of guidelines and what constitutes a valid test.
  • Afternoon session only (Interpretation): register for this option if your primary role will be interpreting the results of a test for diagnosis or disease management.
  • Both sessions: select this option if you want to attend full day and get training on both implementation and interpretation.
