Event Day Schedule

  • 7:30 a.m. EST: Registration Opens
  • 8:15 a.m. Welcoming Remarks
  • 8:30 a.m. Climb Starts
  • 9:00 a.m. EST: After Party at City Tap House + Awards Ceremony
  • 10:15 a.m. Firefighters in Gear

Awards ceremony at City Tap House will be taking place approximately at 11:30 am.

Event Directions

Climber Etiquette

To ensure the safety of all climbers, please be courteous while climbing. If you need to pass, please make sure to pass on the far side. Please make sure to always announce your presence and your intent to pass a slower climber.

Water Stations

Water will be available in the lobby of the building. Water stations will also be located every ten floors (10, 20, 30, 40). Water will also be available on the 50th floor. Water bottles will not be allowed in the stairwells, as it is a safety hazard.

Safety Procedures

Trained medical personnel will be located at Three Logan Square in case you need assistance. Volunteers will also be available at the water stations.

Children

Climbers must be at least 7 years old to participate. Any climber under the age of 18 must climb with an adult (age 18 years or older) and must not be left alone under any circumstances. For adults who climb at a faster pace, please note that your child may not be left unattended while you climb, so make arrangements accordingly. Due to building regulations and to ensure your safety and that of your child, child-toting is not allowed.

Awards and Medals

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of every climber and team who has raised money to fight lung disease. This year, everyone will receive a medal when crossing the finish line on the 50th Floor. And for those climbers who win in their age categories and more, will receive the new custom designed Three Logan Square medal. Participants and teams who have gone above and beyond will be recognized during the Awards Ceremony taking place after the Climb at City Tap House.

Fastest Male and Female Overall

Fastest first, second, and third place male and female in the following age categories will receive a customized medal:

  • 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus

Firefighter Challenges Awards

  • Fastest Firefighter (in gear) Team (minimum of 4 people)
  • Fastest Individual Firefighter (in gear) (Top 3 Individuals)
  • Top Fundraising Firefighter Team
  • Top Fundraising Firefighter Individual
