Following the event, attendees will:
1. Demonstrate an understanding of lung cancer screening protocol and how to overcome barriers in the referral and screening process
2. Have knowledge on the role of e-cigarette use in running an informed practice, demonstrate an understanding of the health risks associated with e-cigarette use, and be able to react to the most recent tobacco trends
3. Understand and be able to identify the different methods of diagnosis and treatment in early stage lung cancer
Respiratory Therapists
This program has been approved for 3 contact hours for Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE) by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).
Registered Nurses
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Northeast Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Upon completion, attendees will be awarded 3 contact hours.
