Teen vaping continues to be an issue for middle and high school students in Alaska. Schools can struggle with how to effectively work with and help students caught in violation of their school’s tobacco policy. The Intervention for Nicotine Dependence: Education, Prevention, Tobacco and Health (INDEPTH) is a new, convenient alternative to suspension or citation that helps schools and communities address the teen vaping problem in a supportive way. Instead of solely focusing on punitive measures, INDEPTH is an interactive program that teaches students about nicotine dependence, establishing healthy alternatives and how to kick the unhealthy addiction that got them in trouble in the first place.

After completing the free online INDEPTH Facilitator Training, join this live, interactive facilitator orientation to fully review the program session-by-session, discuss best practices, and learn how to effectively implement the program in your school or organization. You’ll also learn how to offer the program virtually and in a one-on-one setting. Register for this free orientation today and become part of the youth vaping solution in your school or community.
