Day of Event Details

The LUNG FORCE Run/Walk features Heroes and their families, a LUNG FORCE Action Passport to interactive education areas, fun games and activities, and inspiring stories of hope. We invite you to join us as we share our voices and rally our family and friends to defeat lung cancer—and raise our voices for lung health!

Funds raised will support our goals of providing $10 million in lung cancer research; $5 million to increase public health promotion including awareness of early detection tools, and advocating for increasing federal funding for lung cancer research to $450 million by 2020.

Are you ready to be a LUNG FORCE Leader? We recognize all our fundraising superstars, individuals raising $500 or more, in a special group called LUNG FORCE Leaders! LUNG FORCE Leaders make a significant difference in the lives of people impacted by lung disease and will receive special benefits on run/walk day. See our current list of top fundraisers.

LUNG FORCE Heroes

LUNG FORCE Heroes are patients, caregivers, family, friends and co-workers of those who are impacted by lung cancer —or other lung diseases. Our Heroes share their powerful journeys - stories which help educate the public about what it’s like to have lung cancer or lung disease. Heroes may be asked to speak at a LUNG FORCE Run/Walk Kick-off event, Corporate Recruitment event and/or on run/walk day.
