You may ask, "What is a Dedo?"

The short and simple answer is, a Dedo is a grandfather. However, in our family a Dedo is so much more than that. We have had the privelidge of two wonderful men coming into our lives. Through these men, "Dedo" came to mean unconditional love, knowing no limits when it came to those they care about, and that there would always be someone excited and proud for your good days, and supportive and still proud for your bad days.

Our Dedos were so full of love, and this a love that we still feel every day although lung disease has moved both of them beyond this physical world. In their memory we are fundraising for this run, but really it is for the cause and to give resources to those who still need support while living with lung disease; I am asking for your participation for everyone out there with a heart full of love and lungs that need a little help...

This year....

Our Dedo's aren't the only people we are honoring. A woman who meant everything to her family as a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, and a friend to many, was unable to continue her fight with lung disease. So, Jill Keppler, this one is for you too!
