With the wildfires on Maui, the state of lung cancer in Hawai‘i is more important than ever. During this live webinar, participants will hear about the newest findings for the American Lung Association's State of Lung Cancer Report as well as advances in lung cancer screening and treatment from Dr. Taryne Imai and J.B. Smith.

The introduction of The Queens Health System's ION Robotic Navigational Bronchoscopy Program, pioneered by Dr. Imai, means that a minimally- invasive procedure capable of diagnosing and resecting lung cancer at earlier stages and smaller sizes is now available to our community.

J.B. Smith, a Senior Executive at Genentech, will also speak about the importance of Biomarker Testing to diagnose and treat lung cancer more accurately. This is particularly needed as there is a short precious amount of time to appropriately treat lung cancer.

The program will begin at 09:00 AM (Hawai'i Time).
