Event Day Schedule

  • 8:00 AM (CT): First Wave of Climbers enter the stairwells. Climb start time and wave assignments will be released on Wednesday, April 3rd at Noon. To make a start time request for you or your team, please email EventsIA@Lung.org.
  • 12:00 PM (CT): Firefighter and First Responder Awards Ceremony at the Embassy Club (ceremony will take place once all firefighter and first responder climbers have completed their climb).

Climber Etiquette

To ensure the safety of all climbers, please be courteous while climbing. If you need to pass, please make sure to pass on the left.

Water Stations

Water stations are located throughout the Fight For Air Climb, including in the skywalk between buildings and at the top of each building.

Safety Procedures

Trained medical personnel will be located throughout the Fight For Air Climb, including in the skywalk between buildings and at the top of each building in case you need assistance. Volunteers will also be available in the stairwells and skywalk.

Children

Climbers must be at least five years old to participate. Any climber under the age of 18 must climb with an adult (age 18 years or older) and must not be left alone under any circumstances. For adults who climb at a faster pace, please note that your child may not be left unattended while you climb, so make arrangements accordingly. Due to building regulations and to ensure your safety and that of your child, child-toting is not allowed.

Awards

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of every climber and team who has raised money to fight lung disease. Participants and teams who have gone above and beyond will be recognized. Awards will be announced event weekend and details will be provided to winners for pick up. More details to be announced closer to the event.
