Event Day Schedule

  • 8:00am: Check-In Begins
  • 9:00am: First Civilian Climber
  • 9:15am: After Party Opens
  • 10:45am: First Firefighter Climber (approximately)
  • 11:30am: Awards Ceremony (approximately)

Parking Information

Parking is available in the Dock Parking Garage (272 West 34th Street), which is connected to PENN 1. Climbers will receive the discounted parking rate of $15 for 12 hours.

At Check-In, climbers will receive a sticker/voucher to put on the BACK of their parking ticket. When you leave the parking garage, please make sure to scan the front of the ticket and then the sticker/voucher on the back to receive the discounted price .

Climber Start Times and Bib Numbers
Climber start times will be given by Thursday March 21st. Climbers will be emailed this information and their times will be posted on the New York City Climb website.

After Party
We’re excited to hold our post-climb celebration at The Landing at PENN 1 again this year! We will have food, drinks, raffles, and more!

Event Directions

Climber Etiquette

To ensure the safety of all climbers, please be courteous while climbing. If you need to pass, please make sure to pass on the left side.

Water Stations

Water stations are located throughout PENN 1. The specific floors where the water stations will be located on the 14th, 27th and 39th floors.

Safety Procedures

Trained medical personnel will be located throughout PENN 1 in case you need assistance. Volunteers will also be available at the water stations.

Children

Any climber under the age of 18 must climb with an adult (age 18 years or older) and must not be left alone under any circumstances. For adults who climb at a faster pace, please note that your child may not be left unattended while you climb, so make arrangements accordingly. Due to building regulations and to ensure your safety and that of your child, child-toting is not allowed.

Civilian Awards

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of every climber and team who has raised money to fight lung disease.

  • Male Overall: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • Female Overall: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Age Categories (Civilian Male and Female)

  • 15-19: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • 20-29: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • 30-39: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • 40-49: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • 50-59: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • 60+: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Teams (must have 5 members):

  • Fastest Friends & Family Team
  • Fastest Corporate Team
  • Fastest School Team

Other Awards:

  • Top Five Individual Fundraisers
  • Top Friends and Family Team
