Event Day Schedule

  • 7:00 a.m. EST: Check in Begins
  • 7:45 a.m. EST: Check in Ends
  • 8:00 a.m. EST: Opening Ceremony
  • 8:20 a.m. EST: Climb Begins
  • 9:30 a.m. EST: Awards Ceremony & After Party

Check In:
Participants will receive their t-shirt and bib during check in.

Please note in order to participate on Climb Day, all participants must reach the $100 fundraising minimum.

Parking Information
Parking is available at the following locations:

  • The Vue offers guest parking, first come first serve
  • Pay-to-park lots are available on 220 N Pine St. Charlotte, NC 28202 with a $12 daily rate
  • Street parking is avaliable on N Pine St.

Event Directions

Climber Etiquette

To ensure the safety of all climbers, please be courteous while climbing. If you need to pass, please make sure to pass on the left.

Water Stations

Water stations are located throughout the venue. 

Safety Procedures

Trained medical personnel will be located throughout The VUE in case you need assistance. Volunteers will also be available at the water stations.

Children

Climbers must be at least ten years old to participate. Any climber under the age of 18 must climb with an adult (age 18 years or older) and must not be left alone under any circumstances. For adults who climb at a faster pace, please note that your child may not be left unattended while you climb, so make arrangements accordingly. Due to building regulations and to ensure your safety and that of your child, child-toting is not allowed.

Awards

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of every climber and team who has raised money to fight lung disease. Participants and teams who have gone above and beyond will be recognized. Awards will be announced during our Award Ceremony at the After party! Awards include:

  • Highest Fundraising Team
  • Highest Fundraising Individual
  • Firefighter: Top (1) Male and Top (1) Female
  • Climber: Top (3) Male and Top (3) Female
  • Climber Age Groups (Top 3 in each):
    10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
