Rick, our beloved husband, father, and Poppop had a much too short, but hard fought battle with non-small cell lung cancer. After emergency back surgery, multiple radiation treatments, and a round of chemotherapy in a very short amount of time, the cancer was just too widespread and pervasive for his body to continue to fight. We are creating this fundraising page in honor of Rick and with the hope that support for organizations like this can continue to improve awareness regarding the dangers of tobacco use, preventative medical checks for lung health, and education surrounding the early signs and symptoms of lung disease.
