Chris Cahlamer - 2020 Climbing Cahlamers Team
For the 11th consecutive year, I will be participating in the Fight for Air Climb. On March 7, 2020, I will be climbing 47 flights (1,034 steps) to the top of the U.S. Bank Center building. I am climbing for some very important reasons. Both my daughter, Hannah, and I have asthma. I also have close relatives that have endured lung cancer and lung disease. I climb and fundraise to support the ALA's mission to improve lung health and prevent lung disease. I have been a proud member of the Leadership Board for the American Lung Association in Wisconsin since 2012, the Board of the American Lung Association Upper Midwest Region since 2018, and I co-chaired the Fight For Air Climb Event from 2013-2015.
The Climbing Cahlamers team has had fun each year participating in this event. Since 2010, the Climbing Cahlamers have raised over $89,000 for the American Lung Association. The team raised $14,600 in donations for the 2019 Climb. We were the #3 Fundraising Family & Friends Team. We hope to claim the #1 spot and raise even more money for the 2020 climb. Please help us achieve our goals and support this important event and organization.
