FAQ

You can register as an individual, team captain, team member or volunteer by clicking the correct participation type link.

There is no registration fee. The LUNG FORCE Walk is a fundraising event and all participants are encouraged to raise funds. You can kick off your fundraising efforts by making a $33 self donation toward your fundraising goal of raising a minimum of $100 to make a difference in the lives of those who struggle to breathe because of lung disease.

Every participant who raises a minimum of $100 will receive a commemorative t-shirt. There are additional fundraising incentives you can achieve. View all fundraising incentive levels.

We have two options available: a 1 mile route and a 5k route.

7:30 AM: Registration opens 9:00 AM: Walk begins.

In preparation for event day, make sure to dress appropriately for the weather; don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses and your comfortable shoes. In case of inclement weather, bring an umbrella or rain jacket. As a reminder, make sure to wear LOTS of turquoise.

To earn your official LUNG FORCE commemorative t-shirt, you will need to reach or exceed the $100 fundraising level by the day of the event - don’t miss out!

The LUNG FORCE Walk will go on rain or shine! In the case of inclement weather, your local event staff will notify participants of alternate plans.

Parking is free and plentiful in Liberty Station.

Dogs on leashes are permitted and welcomed at the Southern California LUNG FORCE Walk. Visit our Pet Zone in our Festival Area for treats and goodies.

Donations made online can be paid by credit, debit card or PayPal. Donors will receive a receipt via email for their contribution, which is tax-deductible. Donations collected via check or cash may be mailed to the American Lung Association office at:
