Day of Event Details

To ensure the safety of all climbers, please be courteous while climbing. If you need to pass, please make sure to pass on the left of the Climber you are passing.

Water stations will be located along the route and Climbers will be permitted to carry a factory-sealed plastic water bottle on the route. Climbers and guests are permitted to bring one factory-sealed, clear plastic bottle of unflavored water per person into the stadium.

Trained medical personnel will be located throughout the venue in case you need assistance. Volunteers will also be available at the water stations with first-aid kits. On the Firefighter route, they will have ice packs available.

Climbers must be at least seven years old to participate. Any climber under the age of 18 must climb with an adult (age 18 years or older) and must not be left alone under any circumstances. For adults who climb at a faster pace, please note that your child may not be left unattended while you climb, so make arrangements accordingly. Due to venue regulations and to ensure your safety and that of your child, child-toting and pets are not allowed.

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of every climber and team who has raised money to fight lung disease. Participants and teams who have gone above and beyond will be recognized. Awards will be announced following event weekend and details will be provided to winners for pick up. The official Climb Detroit Awards Party will be held in the month or so following the event. More details to be announced closer to the event.
