Volunteer To Defeat Lung Disease

Support those affected by lung disease and raise awareness by volunteering at the 10th Annual LUNG FORCE Walk Detroit. Numerous volunteer opportunities await you on Event Day, with volunteer shift opportunities falling between 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Register today to sign up as a volunteer or to create a volunteer group team.
The Calhouns
Audra and Robert Calhoun began volunteering with the American Lung Association in the spring of 2022. As recent retirees from public service, they found it to be a natural transition into community service. We are grateful for their invaluable assistance with our local fundraising events.

Additional Fall Volunteer Opportunities
Preparing for our annual fundraising events requires many hands to come together. Opportunities are available for small groups and individuals, including students. Consider joining us for a volunteer project at our office in Southfield or join us on event weekend in Royal Oak before or after the event. Powered by Lungs - Detroit Free Press Marathon
Join the American Lung Association’s Powered by Lungs team as volunteer during the Detroit Free Press Marathon race weekend. You’ll be supporting our efforts as an official Charity Partner. There are lots of volunteer opportunities perfect for all ages and a good fit for both individuals and groups.
