You’ve raised funds, gathered your friends and family, and now the big day has finally arrived! Don’t miss a moment of the fun. Plan to arrive to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo between 8 - 8:45 a.m. so that you can check-in or get registered and ready for your walk. You will also want to explore our Mission Village area and check off boxes for your LUNG FORCE Action Passport Bingo!

LUNG FORCE Walks are a great time to meet other people battling lung disease, which is why participants who have a personal connection are encouraged to identify themselves during online registration. If you are comfortable, you will be asked to join as a new LUNG FORCE Hero or Champion and will have the opportunity to share your story.

All participants must check-in at the ALA table to receive your zoo admissions wristband to enter the zoo by 9:30 a.m. Pre-event registration is required for all participants 2 years of age and older. In support of our annual fundraising event, there is a suggested fundraising minimum of $100 per person. Register today to save your spot. Day of event registration will be available until 9:30am at the ALA registration table.

Free Parking will be available on site in the Tiger lot. Handicapped Parking available in the Lion Lot. Public transportation is encouraged and also available to the Cleveland Zoo.

Please Read our 2023 LUNG FORCE Walk Participant Guide for full event day details.

Spirit Poms

At registration, you will be given a Spirit Pom to wave with pride as you walk. In this small, spirited way, we can recognize loved ones who are currently struggling with lung disease as well as those we have lost.

LUNG FORCE Action Passport

Visit each of our passport tents to learn more about our mission and earn yourself a stamp. All participants who complete their LUNG FORCE Action Passport by collecting all five stamps will be eligible to win a prize!

Mission Mile Markers

Remember and honor a loved one who’s life has been affected by lung cancer or lung disease, by creating a sign that will be displayed on the walk path.

LUNG FORCE Heroes

LUNG FORCE Heroes are patients, caregivers, family, friends and co-workers of those who are impacted by lung cancer or lung disease. These brave individuals share their powerful real-life stories online and at events to help raise awareness and educate the public about what it’s like to live with lung cancer or lung disease. If you're interested in becoming a LUNG FORCE Hero, please contact Catherine Widemire.
