To ensure the safety of our immune-compromised participants and volunteers, masks are required for all Lung Association event participants, volunteers and staff in official event spaces when in close contact with others. Masks may be pulled down while walking/running. Please wear your mask as you enter the event and while in proximity to other attendees to protect the health of others.
With safety being our number one priority, we are continuing to monitor current CDC guidelines as well as state/local guidelines.
The safest environment for gathering is outside in the fresh air, and to create that safe environment, we will be:
- Spatial distancing and wearing masks
- Controlling flow and number of people on-site
- Following strict site sanitation protocols throughout the day
We are requiring that all participants and volunteers wear a mask while attending the event. Masks will be required at all times at the event. See our Run/Walk Safe Commitment for detailed information. Let’s work together to keep everyone safe!
All event participants are required to register. The cost to register is $30 for Adult Runner/Walkers and $25 for Child Runner/Walkers through Tuesday, October 19. Starting Wednesday, October 20 registration will increase by $5. All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt and access to our LUNG FORCE Village that will host vendors and activities both pre- and post-event. Please keep in mind that the LUNG FORCE Run/Walk is a fundraising event, and all participants are encouraged to raise additional funds via online fundraising and fundraising events. Kick off your fundraising with a $35 personal donation toward your fundraising goal and make a difference in the lives of those who struggle to breathe because of lung disease. We offer a number of fundraising tools to help you be a successful fundraiser. Every dollar helps move us closer to a world free of lung cancer and lung disease.
Every participant who raises a minimum of $100 will receive a commemorative t-shirt. For more motivated fundraisers, there are additional rewards that you can work toward. Take a peek at the fundraising incentives.
