With safety being our number one priority, we are continuing to monitor current CDC guidelines as well as state/local guidelines.

The course stair count is 1,998 steps. This is the equivalent to approximately 1 mile around for regular stadium climbers. Ultimate Climbers will go around the stadium twice.
Start times will be staggered throughout the Saturday morning of May 8, 2021. Check your individualized START TIME here: https://results.sporthive.com/events/6790839870546895104/races/477773. We encourage all registered climbers to download the free app for their personalized start time and post race results: https://live.sporthive.com/event/10520. Teams and team members will be prioritized to climb together.
Plan to arrive at Coors Field Parking Lot A 20 minutes prior to your assigned start time (and not earlier).
If you have picked up your bib and shirt at our early packet pickup (May 1 and May 2 at Road Runner Sports Lone Tree location only from 11 2 pm) You do not need to check in again! For all others, check in will take place in the staging area of Parking Lot A.
Please leave valuable items at home as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Also note that we will NOT have a Gear Check this year. Whatever you bring in, you will have to carry during your climb. There will not be water ON THE COURSE. Following guidelines set out by Coors Field, please note that glass bottles, aluminum cans are prohibited.
All participants should park in Main Lot, Section A (1601 Park Ave W, Denver, CO 80205). This leads directly to a socially distanced line up from the parking lot into GATE A of Coors Field Stadium. Each wave will be limited in participant climber numbers and given unique start times. From this first line up, climbers will be ushered into the stadium to their start line position. Then waved across the timing start line down the first set of stairs. The Climb will snake around the lower bowl of Coors Field Stadium for approximately one mile up/down and around.

The minimum fundraising requirement is $100 per person. Climbers have until event day to raise the money and if, for some reason they haven’t met the minimum they will be asked to pay it before participating. Some companies will match your donation, plan ahead and secure your company match to increase your fundraising and raise the required minimum.
The registration fee does not count toward the fundraising minimum. But don’t worry, we are here to help, and we have plenty of fundraising ideas and tips to get you started!
The American Lung Association is dedicated, now more than ever, to providing you with the Climb experience you know and love. As your Trusted Champion of Lung Health, we are also committed to fulfilling our promise of responsible recreation. Therefore, the American Lung Association will continue to closely monitor public local health conditions and CDC guidelines. In order to appropriately protect our participants' well-being and the community at large, the American Lung Association reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or alter the 2021 Fight For Air Climb.
Should the Fight For Air Climb be altered to be a virtual event, your registration will automatically transfer to virtual participation in our Climb Your Way program. Your registration fee, and any funds raised, will transfer with your registration. Your registration can be credited toward your fundraising. Participants who raise $100 or more will earn a Fight For Air Climb shirt. Raise $175 or more to qualify for additional incentive items.
If the Fight For Air Climb is canceled or postponed, funds raised will support the American Lung Association’s mission. You may request to transfer your registration fee to the next event date, but please note that registration fees are non-refundable.

Teams and team members will receive a group climb time, that allows for a safe-individualized start while keeping teams together. Climbing on a team is the best way to enjoy the event.
To form a team, choose Register as Team Captain. Make sure you have a team name in mind: honor a loved one, make it fun or name it after your business — the sky’s the limit!
After you register as a Team Captain, tell your team members to select Register as a Team Member and to search for your team name to join.

No, the registration fee and fundraising minimum are per individual. There are no additional fees for creating a team.
