Many companies offer matching gift programs in which the company will match an employee's contribution to a charitable organization. You can ask your HR department about matching your contribution, or our company search tool below can provide you with basic information for many company policies.
This year, as we practice safe social distancing, we ask that you participate in the Virtual LUNG FORCE Run/Walk from June 5th through June 19th, by walking, biking or running in your neighborhood or on a local hiking trail. Your activity is as long as you'd like it to be. New this year! Our LUNG FORCE app will be able to not only assist in your fundraising efforts, but it will also be able to track your miles/steps.
This virtual Run/Walk allows you freedom not only in when you complete the race, but also where you complete the race. You can choose to run/walk around your neighborhood, on the treadmill, or at a nearby park or greenway. Get creative!
In preparation for your virtual walk, make sure to dress appropriately for the weather; don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses and your comfortable shoes. As a reminder, make sure to wear LOTS of turquoise.
We understand events are always more fun when our friends and family can join us. However, the CDC is recommends practicing safe social distancing during this time. If you choose to walk with a team, be sure to keep a safe distance between you, at least 6’ apart. Or get creative and run or walk as a team virtually through Facetime, Zoom, Instagram Live or any other outlet!
