The American Lung Association in Colorado’s ONE Step program training provides Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) and organizations serving low-income parents with training and resources on asthma and secondhand smoke (SHS). This training uses health-focused messaging about removing SHS, asthma triggers, and environmental tobacco (including e-cigarettes) from homes and organizations serving children. Folks who complete this 2-hour virtual training, will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to connect with parents/caregivers about the dangers of SHS and how protecting child’s health starts with one simple step.
You can register for the virtual training by clicking Register Today
If you have any questions, please reach out to Valerie Steinmetz at ONEStepColorado@Lung.org or 303-847-0279.
Currently, folks who compete the ONE Step training can earn one hour of Professional Development credit. We can also work with your local licensing agency to see if CEUs will be accepted.
