Join us as you reach the summit of one of our region's most prominent peaks. Climb for Clean Air is an exclusive mountaineering training and fundraising program designed to give you the training, technical support and guide services you need to summit these magnificent mountains safely.
Climb For Clean Air has been available to people of all levels who are ready to take on the challenge of summiting a mountain since 1987. Funds raised by participants will support the American Lung Association of the Mountain Pacific's mission of saving lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
This event is open to people of all skill levels who are ready to take on the challenge of summiting a mountain. We provide you with training hike opportunities to insure you're prepared to summit. These hikes are led by previous participants who offer guidance every step of the way. Most participants are novice climbers, with no prior climbing experience, who want to achieve this dream in a team setting. Together, your team will train, motivate one another, and get important advice to make your climb as fun as possible.
Your climbs will be led by highly trained professional alpine guides from Rainier Mountaineering, Inc. for Mt. Rainier & Mt. Baker, and our AMGA professional guides for Mt. Hood.
Registration for all climbs is $250. This also goes towards your fundraising goal! The minimum fundraising requirement to participate and have a guaranteed spot for your mountain is $3,900 for Mt. Hood and Mt. Baker, and $4,250 for Mt. Rainier. This includes all professional guide fees, one night’s lodging, team training hikes, our kickoff party, plus discounts on gear!
Over 1,500 climbers have participated with us.
