FAQ

Yoga Power is a school-based fundraising initiative that will help bring awareness to the importance of lung health to your school. It is a fun way to show support for the fight against lung disease and to help promote lung health. By practicing yoga, children can learn how to exercise, discover the power of their breath, develop confidence and strengthen the mind-body connection.

Children enjoy amazing benefits from yoga both physically and mentally. Physically, it enhances their strength, coordination, flexibility and overall body awareness. Mentally it increases their ability to relax, improves their level of focus and their concentration. In today's society, the practice of yoga can also lead children to a greater self-awareness and acceptance not only in themselves but in others. Yoga Power includes education around the importance of proper lung health and will teach healthy breathing practices to every child.

Additionally, Yoga Power teaches the value of community service—by collecting donations, your child can raise awareness and vital funding to help those who are suffering from lung diseases such as asthma, lung cancer and emphysema.
