Chairwoman Lynn Valbuena is being honored for her outstanding community awareness and leadership in addressing ongoing healthcare disparities and her tireless work to promote better quality healthcare for Native Americans in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and other health challenges. Lynn’s nationally lauded leadership of the Tribal Alliance of Sovereign Indian Nations for 28 years, and nearly 50 years in leadership and service to the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians demonstrate her deep commitment to the health and wellbeing of Native Americans in Southern California and throughout the Country.
