Small Steps, Bold Strides

Join us and turn small steps into bold strides toward a world without lung cancer and lung disease.

Come out and experience the celebratory and welcoming atmosphere of a LUNG FORCE event.

It doesn't matter how you roll, whether you like to saunter, power-walk or stroll.  There's a Walk Your Way virtual option for those who can't make it to the event.

Texas Two-StepTexas Two-Step

The Texas Two-Step is a fundraiser that consists of two of our signature events (LUNG FORCE Walk - South Texas and Fight For Air Climb - South Texas) happening on the same day, location, and time to allow for a more family-friendly experience.

The Fight For Air Climb consists of a timed-course climbing over 1,000 steps on stadium bleachers for those that love a challenge. The LUNG FORCE Walk is a 1.3-mile course around TSU Bobcat Stadium's concourse for those that love to take in the sights in a family group or with a team at their own pace. All festivities begin at 8:00 AM and end by 12:00 PM.

Participation in either part of the Texas Two-Step requires registration.

      Why We Need You

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths among women and men. Someone is diagnosed with lung cancer every two minutes and 14 seconds. 4 in 5 of those diagnosed will ultimately die of the disease.

      Why We're Hopeful

More Americans than ever are surviving lung cancer. The survival rate has increased by a dramatic 13% to 22.6% in the last 5 years. Your support will help us continue the progress in our efforts to defeat lung cancer.
