10:30 a.m. Opening Ceremony & Fitness Warm-Up. Hear stories from LUNG FORCE Heroes and Champions and learn how your involvement in LUNG FORCE is helping the American Lung Association make lung cancer and other lung disease history.
11:00 a.m. Ribbon Cutting & Walk Start
12:15 p.m. Party on the Pier! Return to Pier 16 to enjoy live music by The Sticky Wickets and food and beverages available for sale at Cobble Fish. 5% of sales will be donated to LUNG FORCE!
Meet Your 2023 Medical Honoree Dr. Nicholas Rohs Mount Sinai Hospital
Dr. Nicholas Rohs is a board certified medical oncologist who specialized in treatment of lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths among women and men. Someone is diagnosed with lung cancer every two minutes and 14 seconds. 4 in 5 of those diagnosed will ultimately die of the disease.
