The American Lung Association’s Fight For Air Climb is the premier outdoor stair-climbing event in Arizona.

The Climb is designed for every type of climber, from beginners to competitive climbers, and supports lung health and air quality initiatives in our community. How you climb is up to you: race to the finish, do a second lap, or take it at your own speed.

This event provides critical funds for lifesaving lung disease research, early lung cancer detection initiatives, and continued air quality improvement measures throughout Arizona.

Where you'll be climbing

The Phoenix Fight For Air Climb is heading to Scottsdale Stadium, home to San Francisco Giants Spring Training! The course features one-of-a-kind views of the sun setting behind Camelback Mountain and the best set of stairs this side of the Mississippi. Scottsdale Stadium is the perfect setting for a Friday evening of fun, challenge and camaraderie.

Participants will climb over 1,100 steps as they weave through the lower seating of Scottsdale Stadium before heading up to the upper stairs. Climbers looking for an additional challenge can repeat the course for twice the stair count!
