Small Steps, Bold Strides

LUNG FORCE Walk, locally presented by Sharp Grossmont Hospital, brought together many families on January 29th. It was a grand morning in San Diego at Liberty Station, and we raised our voices to defeat lung cancer and lung disease… But we have not stopped!

We are taking more Small Steps and Bold Strides to Fund the Mission.

Our LUNG FORCE campaign continues through March 31 with hopes of achieving our campaign goal. When you make your gift, you advance critical research, educational programs and important advocacy efforts. And you provide hope for our friends, our neighbors, and our family members with lung disease. Thank you for your support!

      Why We Need You

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths among women and men. Someone is diagnosed with lung cancer every two minutes and 14 seconds. 4 in 5 of those diagnosed will ultimately die of the disease.

      Why We're Hopeful

More Americans than ever are surviving lung cancer. The survival rate has increased by a dramatic 13% to 22.6% in the last 5 years. Your support will help us continue the progress in our efforts to defeat lung cancer.
