We are pleased to welcome all participants and volunteers back to the Autumn Escape Bike Trek, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. Overnight accommodations at Camp Burgess are reserved for fully vaccinated participants only. For participants that are not fully vaccinated, off-site accommodations and transportation need to be coordinated individually. Every Mile Counts
Join us for the 37th Annual Autumn Escape Bike Trek taking place September 25-26, 2021 along beautiful Cape Cod, MA. This year’s event will offer one and two-day ride options with updated routes! Every mile you ride will support of the American Lung Association’s mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through research, education, and advocacy, including our COVID-19 Action Initiative - a $25M commitment to help end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics.

WHEN: Saturday, September 25 to Sunday, September 26
WHERE: Saturday and Sunday ride both start and end at Camp Burgess (Sandwich, MA)
ROUTE: Day One- 55.5 miles, Day Two- 44 miles, 99.5 miles total
The Autumn Escape Bike Trek Strava Club is the perfect place to track your miles as you train for the upcoming ride and cycle in support of the American Lung Association! Strava is a free application you can download on your smart phone. Join over one hundred other cyclists in the club, track your activity and take part in some friendly competition with other trekkers to stay on top of the leaderboard.
In March, the American Lung Association launched a $25 million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. At the same time, we're continuing our advocacy work to support clean air and redoubling our long-term commitments to lifesaving research.
