Our Climb Safe Commitment includes spatial distancing, health screenings, sanitation protocols, and face masks.
The American Lung Association is committed to the health and safety of our participants and volunteers. We will continue to closely monitor public health conditions and CDC guidelines as we plan for the 2021 event.
The CDC has updated their outdoor MASK GUIDELINES, so we have too! Since we will be climbing outside, you are able to pull your mask down while actively climbing and 6ft away from others. Masks will still be required upon event entry, at the start line, finish line, and all other areas throughout the event. Read our Climb Safe Commitment to learn more.

Our mandatory HEALTH SCREENING SURVEY will be posted online on Thursday, May 14th. Proof of completion (screen shot of results or print out) will be required for all participants, volunteers, and spectators, in order to enter the event.

In March, the American Lung Association launched a $25 million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. At the same time, we're continuing our advocacy work to support clean air and redoubling our long-term commitments to lifesaving research.
Over the last 11 years, the Climbers have raised more than $60 million to support the mission of the American Lung Association. Last year, more than 26,000 participants from 43 Climb events across the country came together last year to raise more than $7 million.
