COVID-19. Lung Cancer. Lung disease. Clean Air. That's why we Climb.
We're taking the Climb outside in 2021. We're moving onward and upward, safely and responsibly, so that we can make an impact now to ensure a healthier future for all.
Join us outside for a reimagined Climb at Principal Park in May 2021. All are welcome to share in this adventure, whether you're new to the event or a veteran Climber.
Just like our indoor event, how you climb outdoors is up to you. You can race to the end or take it at your own pace. There's even a Climb Your Way option for those who can't make it to the event.
We need you in the fight now more than ever. Come outside for the shared challenge, for the camaraderie, and for a world free of all lung disease, including COVID-19.
Our Climb Safe Commitment
Our Climb Safe Commitment includes spatial distancing, health screenings, sanitation protocols, and face masks.
The American Lung Association is committed to the health and safety of our participants and volunteers. We will continue to closely monitor public health conditions and CDC guidelines as we plan for the 2021 event.
In March, the American Lung Association launched a $25 million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. At the same time, we're continuing our advocacy work to support clean air and redoubling our long-term commitments to lifesaving research.
Over the last 11 years, the Climbers have raised more than $60 million to support the mission of the American Lung Association. Last year, more than 26,000 participants from 43 Climb events across the country came together last year to raise more than $7 million.
Join us. Because Every Step Counts and every step makes a difference.
