Ready to get Virtual

In order to make this year’s event as interactive as possible, we’ve created a LUNG FORCE Walk - Bridgewater Strava Club! Strava is a free application you can download on your smart phone to track your miles in support of the American Lung Association.

THE LUNG FORCE WALK HAS GONE VIRTUAL!

Due to COVID-19, the American Lung Association is holding its’6th annual LUNG FORCE Walk as a virtual event. The health & safety of our participants, families, our volunteers and staff is our top priority.

On September 26, 2020 we will virtually walk together either in our own neighborhoods or on one of the many beautiful trails throughout New Jersey.

We encourage everyone to wear turquoise, especially their event day t-shirt.

This year, your support will mean more than ever! In addition to raising funds and awareness for lung cancer and lung disease, this year’s donations will also support the American Lung Association’s $25M initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory viruses.

For all who are registered and for anyone interested in learning more about the event, please join us for our Virtual Opening Ceremony on September 26th.

  • Anyone can get it — if you have lungs, you can get lung cancer, and it's been on the rise in women since 1987
  • Over 3 million people in the United States affected by COVID-19
  • More than 15 million diagnosed with COPD, the third leading cause of death by disease
  • More than 36 million Americans are living with lung disease

group of young adults at a LUNG FORCE WalkHeld nationwide, LUNG FORCE Walks are the American Lung Association's signature outdoor event series to support and promote lung health.

The LUNG FORCE Walk is a great opportunity to gather family, friends, and coworkers for a morning of healthy activity and purpose. The Walks provide critical funds for life-saving research and early detection initiatives.

Most event participants form teams. You can name your team in honor of a team member or loved one, or name it after your business, or even pick a "punny" name. Have fun. Be creative.

Register today and save your team's spot at the start line. If you have questions about forming a team or anything else about the event, please contact us.

Welcome to the LUNG FORCE family!
