Together We've Raised…

  • We've Raised:

    Our Goal: $325,000.00

We are currently in the process of postponing Clean Air Challenge 2020 to fall according to CDC guidance to halt gatherings of more than ten for eight weeks to limit human exposure as much as possible.  We will be in touch again soon with regard to the new dates and deadlines.

The American Lung Association has been closely monitoring the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), state and local health departments, and our medical experts throughout this emerging public health crisis. As the country’s leading champion of lung health, the American Lung Association puts the health and well-being of our nationwide community first and foremost, and we are acting in accordance with science-based public health guidelines.

All American Lung Association staff nationwide are working remotely from home at this time. You can reach us , via email, phone, or social media; everything except dropping by the office.

Thank you for your critical fundraising! The urgency of our mission to support people with lung disease is in hyper drive right now due to the respiratory virus COVID-19 threat and the particular risk to lung disease patients. We thank you for your support now more than ever and we continue to welcome and encourage donations and new registrations.

Our free Lung Helpline has increased staffing due to the heightened volume of calls; we are funding a researcher that has a recent discovery that looks to be promising for a Coronavirus vaccine; and we have online support communities for lung disease patients and their caregivers and education programs for people with lung disease.
