It’s an Alaskan Tradition!
Join the American Lung Association in Alaska for the 36th Annual Clean Air Challenge...
Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
For over thirty-five years, people have been making the Clean Air Challenge a part of their Alaskan adventure. Clean Air Challenge is the first big ride of the year on Mother’s Day weekend in Talkeetna. Using pedal power to fight lung disease, you can experience Alaskan hospitality at its best at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. Bring your family, bring your friends. Join us for this Alaskan spring tradition!
NEW THIS YEAR...COME FOR THE DAY | SLEEP IN YOUR OWN BED!
Do you live in the Mat-Su? Have a cabin in the area? Just want to hang with friends at their place after the ride?
We've added a Day Trekker option new this year! Fundraising minimum at this level includes the ride, an event shirt, and the Saturday night dinner and program. This new level does not include lodging! The fundraising minimum for this option is $350 per person ($175 for youth 13-17).
Of course we still have our traditional $500 basic fundraising level with a Saturday night stay at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge with a fellow trekker as a roommate. And you can still double your impact on lung health by upgrading to the Winners Circle level ($1,000 fundraising) and earn a private room for both Friday and Saturday nights. From there, you can upgrade your lodging options even more, receive new gear or even a full-on training program. It's up to you!
Set your personal fundraising goal to reflect the experience you are aiming to have. Want those two nights at the lodge? Then put your goal at $1,000. You can adjust your goal up to the fundraising deadline (two weeks pre-ride) if need be up or down. However we do expect to fill the lodge and if your fundraising goal is not set with your intention to begin with, there may not be rooms left later.
