When you participate in a Fight For Air Climb event, you are stepping up to make a positive impact for those affected by lung disease. You will raise funds to support the American Lung Association's mission while climbing the stairs of a skyscraper.

Whether you are climbing alone or with friends and family, for a healthier lifestyle or in honor of all those who are affected by lung disease, you will achieve a sense of personal accomplishment when you reach the top. Defeating the physical challenge and reaching the height of your fundraising potential will be a gratifying experience. Every Step Counts as we move forward in our fight for healthy lungs and clean air!

Need a place to stay the weekend of the Climb?

Thanks to our partnership with the Westin Hotel in Milwaukee attached to the U.S. Bank Center, we are able to offer a $99/night room rate to all those who book their rooms for the weekend of the Climb (March 8/March 9) by using this website or by calling the Westin reservations line at 866-912-1060 and requesting the Fight For Air Climb Room Block. Skip the lines on Event Day and join us at Packet Pick-Up. Please note that your fundraising minimum must be met to pick-up your packet. If you cannot come to Packet Pick-Up, packets can be obtained on Event Day at Registration.

Can I pick up my teammate’s packet?

Yes, but you must bring approval from those climbers or a printed email stating you have permission to pick up their packet, and the teammates must have met their individual fundraising minimum of $100. No exceptions! You will be responsible for giving your teammate their packet. Please notify the Special Events Staff (Monique.Hughes@Lung.org) by Wednesday, March 6 if you are planning to pick up more than one packet, so we can ensure all the packets you are picking up are together.

If you or your teammates have not met their fundraising minimum at Packet Pick-Up or on Event Day, you will be asked to present a credit card, cash or check to meet the minimum.

One of the American Lung Association's signature fundraising events, Fight For Air Climbs are stair climbs held in prominent skyscrapers around the country. Climbers join friends, family, co-workers or even fly solo, climbing the stairs of the building to the top! Over the last several years, our Fight For Air Climbs have raised more than $53 million to support the mission of the American Lung Association.

More than 26,000 participants from 44 Climb events across the country came together last year to raise more than $7.4 million. This year, you can join the challenge and raise money to help provide life-saving lung health research, patient education and public policy efforts.

The Fight For Air Climbs vary in the number of stairs to climb, but each event offers an opportunity for teams and individuals to challenge themselves. And every step you take moves us forward in our fight for healthy lungs and clean air.
