Our Safety Commitment
We are pleased to welcome all participants and volunteers back to the Chest Disease Conference. As a lung health organization and for the safety of all participants, vendors, staff and volunteers, the American Lung Association is requiring that all participants, vendors, staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and to provide proof of vaccination. If you have any concerns or questions regarding showing proof of vaccination please reach out to Molly Ryan at Molly.Ryan@lung.org.
The American Lung Association will continue to evaluate and adjust safety protocols by regularly monitoring local guidelines to ensure optimal lung health for our community. The safety of our participants, vendors and volunteers is of utmost concern.
The 32nd Annual Washington Thoracic Society (WTS) Chest Disease Conference is designed to cover a broad spectrum of clinical pulmonary and critical care topics geared towards physicians and allied health professionals in pulmonary and critical care medicine, thoracic surgery, allergy, infectious disease, family practice and internal medicine.
The conference is currently being planned as an in-person event with an option for virtual participation. WTS will follow COVID-19 guidance from local, state and federal health authorities regarding large gatherings.
