Troy Siruno is a marketing, communications, and public relations professional with more than 15 years of experience in Hawai‘i. He has spent his career creating innovative campaigns for broadcast, digital, and social media platforms that share the stories of local businesses, people, and nonprofit organizations.
Currently, he is theproject associate at Hawai‘i Leadership Forum, providing his communications, project management, and logistic expertise to the nonprofit organization and its cornerstone program, Omidyar Fellows. He also serves as communications consultant with SM Hawai‘i,a multifaceted communications, marketing, and advocacy hub.
Previously, Troy was the director of marketing at Hawai‘i News Now, leading the brand and marketing initiatives for the state’s largest local broadcast media organization and its affiliated television stations and websites.
Troy’s mom, Linda, is a lung cancer survivor. Even though she had to have a portion of her lung removed, if not for constant screening by her doctors over the course of a decade, her situation could have been much worse. He raises money to help support the mission of the American Lung Association with the hope that more lives like his mom's can be saved from the devastating effects of lung disease.
