We are the ORANGE TEAM of the East Farms Student Council and we are excited to be participating in Yoga Power with the American Lung Association.  Over the past few months we have been learning about asthma and how it affects our lungs.

There are many students at East Farms that are affected by asthma. Through our studies we have learned about many different asthma triggers including exercise, pollen, pets, mold, and outdoor air pollution. Luckily, there are many different ways to help our friends manage their asthma too with medication like inhalers and creating an asthma action plan.

You can help us support our friends with asthma by donating to the American Lung Association. The funds we raise will help provide patient education, support research and advocacy efforts for everyone living with lung disease including COPD, lung cancer and asthma. Any amount is welcome.
