Dear Friends and Family,
I recently signed up for Run The Rocks, at the beautiful Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, and I want YOU to join me as part of the team that I want to put together.
There are many options - a 10K, 5K and a 1.3 mile fun run. Of course you can walk too!
Run The Rocks represents so much to me and will represent my first, 5K and the first time for me to feel like I'm representing my mother, father and brother ( Kerry) in the fight against lung disease. This 1st run/walk is definitely for my dad, as I didn't feel like I could help with his fight. I plan to continue to do what I can as to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by and living with lung disease. Kerry, who underwent a double lung transplant in January, is making long strides, and will probably be able to join in on the festivities on the 13th, go Kerry!
Chances are you know someone else who has faced the challenges of emphysema, lung cancer, asthma, COPD or the effects of air pollution – why not join me in this journey and make a difference today.
By running/walking with me, you are helping the American Lung Association continue its work to educate children and adults, to research cures and better treatments and to advocate for better policies.
Also I know that together we'll have a blast.
Together, we can do twice as much. Please join me on October 13th for the Run the Rocks by visiting my personal fundraising webpage and sign up to be a part of the team. One breath at a time, we can Run The Rocks for a better tomorrow.
Thank you for your support.
Nichole
