Climbing for Christine!
Chances are you know someone who has faced the challenges of asthma, COPD, lung cancer or air pollution. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Lung Association provide community based education programs, fight for cleaner air standards and fund life-saving research. With your help, we will fight against lung disease and for lung health. We will be making a positive difference for all of the parents who have a child with asthma, the people who struggle daily with COPD and the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children and friends who get diagnosed with lung cancer.
After my mother passed in 2018 with a lung disease, I decided to hike in her honor the summer fo 2019. That is when I found The American Lung Association's "Climb For Clean Air". Suffering with alung illness myself I thought climbing Mt. Baker would be an awesome memorial for her as well as setting out to summit 5 other peakes in her honor as well as the honor of all the others who suffer with lung disease.
Although I did not summit Mt. Baker this year due to an issue with my asthma. It was a great honor to climb with RMI, The American Lung Association and all the others who raised money and climbed with me. It is my goal to climb Mt. Baker and Mt. Hood as well as 4 other peaks for the 2020 Summer of 6! Not only to honor my mother but to raise money for this amazing organization that does so much for those with lung disease.
Every donation I receive helps make a bigger impact. Please help support my efforts to save lives, donate now.
Together we can fight lung disease successfully!
