I'm doing the Climb for Clean Air to challenge myself and to support people with lung disease who have to fight for every breath. I'm climbing for a healthier future, for vital COVID-19 research and for clean air. 

For those who don't know, this is my second time participating in the Climb for Clean Air. I joined the Climb for Clean Air to climb Mt. Rainer in 2019. Although I did not reach the summit of Mt. Rainer, I am very pround to be part of the team that raised more than $300,000 for the American Lung Association that year! In addtion, I completed the experience feeling healthy, strong, humble and most importantly thankful (for all the support/donations I received from new and old friends).

We've all lived under the shadow of COVID-19 in the past three years. At the beginning of 2022, I started working as an on-call acute care physical therapist at Kaiser Westside Medical Center, where I see the direct impact of COVID-19 and other lung diseases on patients, their loved ones as well as all the health care providers. Therefore, this time I hope to join the Climb for Clean Air to support COVID-19 prevention and research. 

Through groundbreaking research, advocacy and critical education, the money we raise will provide lifesaving treatments and dramatically improve the quality of life for more than 36 million Americans diagnosed with lung disease.
